I like the cutting of the Tee

Postby mus1c80 on Wed Sep 12, 2007 8:20 pm

I actually like the cutting of the Tee. No doubt it is more 'fitting' and hugs closely to our bodies, I thought it accentuates the curves better.

Initially I opted for a L size. Like most of you here, I was given an M size instead. Thank goodness I could squeeze into an M.

For $20, I am very glad to have such a beautiful running tee.

My last run before shape run was mizuno run and if I were to compare these two runs, shape run has done far better!

For mizuno run, I wasn't given the running tee as promised. I was given a polo tee instead. Also, baggage deposit was a horrendous experience, with all bags thrown into a van and retrieval took hours as several men threw our bags around as they shouted out our number tags. It was chaotic. I eventually found my bag on the muddy ground. As for the run, many got lost and we ran the wrong route. We didn't even know where was the finishing point. Road marshals were unidentifiable. I lost touch with all my friends after the run and we all roamed around to look for one another. The queue for goodie bags took hours. Nothing went right.

Therefore I think Shape Run has done very well already!
Just need to improve on the queue for running tee and drinks only! : )

well, you can say that again!!!

i'm just a supporter for mizuno and i vomit blood as well... really pity the participants paying the money for such kind of event... lousy baggage service, poor planning of route (they shared the same guest-of-honour), bad handling of goodie bags... cannot-make-it directional signs...

I suggest you ladies join GE run next month cos i joined last yr and it was my first run and after so many runs now, i still feel that it was the best organised ladies' run around. The collection of goodie bag was done a week before the race and it was really great as they have separate queues for 10k & 5k. The only setback i felt was that they made us return the timing chip at the finish line and that could really be a jam there.

Haiz... too late to join GE, coz now is the final period so the fee is SGD50 which I think is to expensive for me.

Next year I will be the early bird to register for GE.

some of us were made to stop and asked to jog on the spot by the poor embarassed TP at marina south to let some traffic pass.

GE run last year was my first 10km run and i thought it was quite well organized.

nothing is ever perfect. no one race can please every runner. while many of you complained about the event tee, i only have to sulk over the collection of race pack.

anyway, after having gone through lots of anguish, i got my race pack and tee so I shan't complain here.

oh no no no.... i have a complain though. the queue for water!!! this is first time i had to queue so long for water after a race!!! gosh!

what about those going for GE 10k arrange to meet up?
