i din join last yr either.. but i heard that last year was worse.. they dun even hv enough tees for all.. i asked the counter staff about the tees problem when i walked past again..this time round, not much queue, so he patiently answer me.. he said bcoz they pre-ordered from the sponsors BEFORE the registration ends.. and the sizes were based mostly on last year's response.. WTH.. if they order before registration ends.. wads the pt of asking us to specify size.. seriously dun they think they shld give larger sizes instead of smaller sizes ... some of my S friends oso find S too small.. ytd i went to the run.. yes it was successful and fun.. but i feel so sad when i see so many beautiful well-defined "orange" tees.. and myself in ADIDAS green runner tee.. so out lor.. haiz....

I really feel for u gals not being able to wear ur runners tee. I myself love to wear runners tee at these event.

For those who got a size that you are not able to fit, y don't u sell it off on the local auction site? So in this way, u get ur registration money back :D

I also didn't managed to get the XL that I ordered. Given a M too. But the cutting also very small. My fren who got a XL, passed to me to wear as she cannot make it on Sun, but the XL is also very fitting lor. IN the end, wore the PASSION Run tee.... :p

I'm also another "victim" of this t-shirt "saga"..

it was really a disappointment not to be able to have the size I've indicated when I registered. I tried on the M.. but wear but I'll prob die of suffocation b4 the race ended.

And since I can't wear the organiser's tee.. I wore an ORANGE top just so that I can feel that I'm part of the whole event. So sad right? I see so many pple wearing the tee.. so envious.

if they have ordered in advance then dun bother to ask us for sizing lor.

can we write in to complain?

BTW, anyone know when the actual timing will be out?

when i was at MS, i ask one of the helper there, 'why the tee size so limited, see now so many people crowding'... she said 'oh, bcos the tee are actually ordered b4 registration closed, that's why is so limited'. i was like  b4 you collate all the registration, you already ordered, like that of course cannot meet the requirement la...!!!

i compared the tee size with others, this orange tee is about same size with size 'L' of GE red tee last year, and the waist cutting still smaller by an inch.....aiyo...

No wonder not enuf tees...order b4 collation. Im S but when i wear the S, felt that its rather tight too...but im lucky becos im used to wearing more fitting clothings...but most of my frens who joined, opted out of the M tee they got becos too tight for comfort. Lets hope next year will be better....I nv joined last yr but can anyone share if last yr's situation was the same?

last year there was no event tee. they juz distributed some probably 'old stock' from the sponsors to those who registered early. those register late don get it lor.

last year goodie bag collection was equally bad. the distribution start only 10+ (bcos they wanted to issue the cert at the same time), so imagine 2500 ladies crowd around MS waiting to collect.

i completely share the sentiments of those who cannot fit into their t-shirts. I was so looking forward to wearing the runner's T on the day of the run but did not get my requested XL. i really wonder why the organizers even bother asking us for the T-shirt size in the first place! And they should not allow people to swap the sizes at the counter. That partly explain why those of us who originally requested for XL did not get our sizes. Hope the organizers will do better next year.

I have frens who rather not wear the Nike tee...i tink cos they run as a group & they tot it'll be more fun to wear the same tee among themselves than wearing the Nike tee like all the rest...but for me, i prefer to wear the Nike tee rite...i saw a number of small size gals wearing a rather large Nike tee...the armpit hole so big can see the whole sports bra inside...I tink the cert will be mailed to us? But i noe my rough timing liao bah since after i cross the line, i looked back to see the time loh...

Each time I joined a race, I always panick when it comes to the t-shirt size. After I receive them, most of remarks will be 'heng ah, got my size'. Cos it is expected that sometimes, they do not have the sizes available. I ever organise a small scale event before and we have to order the shirt sizes prior to registration. If to wait until closing date, not enuff time to print, unless closing date pushed to two month before the event.

I've done multiple races; from runs to adventure racing. Most of the events, I have what I asked for. In some events, they do not have sufficient, then too bad lor. Next time register earlier and pray hard hard next time have lor. I ever received a size M for Osim Triathlon before when I submit for a XS. Reason: sorry no size. I also received the same reply from another major event, Desaru Long Distance Triathlon. Its a can't be help thing.

Its like a norm not getting the size you want. Most importantly, its the event itself. How much you enjoy yourself and what have you achieved from it.

Why let a t-shirt ruin the run when the event itself is the run? Also wearing your own jersey is more comfortable and easier to spot when running with friends.

I do agree this year's jersey is quite tightfitting. Must feedback to Nike. Heh. T-shirt sponsor ma.

So Cheer UP ladies.

Agreeable. Nonetheless, some event t-shirts landed as rags as the singlet hole is so big i can put my head into or i give the shirt away.

Dun be upset, there's always another event to go to. There's so many runs coming up. :P
