Shape Run 2009

Ever wonder...if you genuinely fell ill on Shape Run day and in so much pain that you couldn't even get out of bed, not to mention get changed & attempt the run!! And after that when you got well, try to contact Shape office to collect your goodie bag....thinking it's the only comfort you have after missing the 'run of the year you've been training for'...only to be told 'No!' and that your bag will be donated to some 'charity of our choice' that could not be even revealed when further probed ?!?!

How can this happen? Are we expected to produce MC to prove our condition if we fell ill on Run Day? Afterall, we paid for the Run - a commercialised event, not charity event. And how useful are the items Really going to be for any charity organisation?

Kinda disappointed the way this was handled.
